About Wai
Wai Phyo Myint is a rising senior at Green Mountain College, majoring in Political Journalism. Before coming to the United States to work on her degree, Wai worked as a reporter in Burma (Myanmar) for about five years. Currently, Wai is working as a co-editor for the college’s student run-newspaper, the Mountaineer.

Green Mountain College’s Griswold Library staff, Cail Clark came up with the idea at one staff meeting to visually demonstrate the amount of paper left in recycle bins, after being printed out at the Library’s printers.
