I went back to Asia for the first time in about four years. I stayed there for about five months from August to January, 2010 and worked on my internship and my senior studies. I named my trip – “My Frugal Asia Trip” – my trip started from Albany, New York to Los Angles, in August and then to Bangkok, Thailand, and finally to Cambodia where I did my communications internship with International Labor Organization and my senior study on child labor issues for four months – with my summer savings. In January, I came back to the United States to finish my study. I blogged about my experiences on taking budget airlines, taking bus trips, and crossing borders by land, finishing meals at budget restaurants, and having nights at low cost guest houses, etc. To read my blog posts about my trip and pictures, please go to this link.
